The essentials of using ChoreCheers.

The service

ChoreCheers is operated by 杨楠 and provides chore recording, household collaboration, statistics and monthly recaps. Core recording, household sync, statistics, monthly reports and local report insights are free. Points and achievements have no cash value and should not be the sole measure of a person’s contribution.

Accounts and households

Protect your credentials and join only households you are entitled to access. Different login methods do not automatically merge accounts based on names or avatars. Owners must exercise membership and record permissions responsibly.

Before cloud use, people aged 14 or older actively confirm the age declaration and agreements. For a child under 14, a guardian reads the child privacy rules, actively consents and verifies their own email address with a one-time code. The child uses their own login, with an email address different from the guardian’s. Email verification confirms mailbox access, not legal identity or the guardian relationship. Refusing cloud consent leaves local recording available.

Your content

Do not post unlawful, infringing, insulting or privacy-invasive content, misuse invitations, abuse APIs or bypass permissions. You retain rights to your content and authorize processing only as needed to provide the service.

Free and Premium access

The free plan includes 8 standard favorite chores and 2 custom chores, expandable through achievements to 10 and 3 respectively. These limits apply to chore selections, not the number of completed records. Free favorites use a shared household layout managed with owner permissions.

Premium includes unlimited standard favorites, personal layouts and 0.5–2.0 point multipliers. Custom chores have a technical safeguard of 100. When Premium ends, existing chores, records and statistics are kept; new additions and favorite selections return to the current free allowance without silently deleting excess content. If an offline record cannot sync with its previous Premium multiplier after expiry, the app asks before syncing it at normal points.

AI report insights and voice input are not available or included in current paid benefits. Local report insights do not use AI.

Purchases, renewal, restoration and cancellation

Optional monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions use Apple in-app purchase. Available products depend on your storefront; Apple shows the currency, price and billing period before you confirm. This website does not take payments or request private transfers.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period. Manage or cancel them in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Normal cancellation leaves access through the current paid period. A verified successful refund or revocation ends that transaction’s access source, without affecting other valid household subscriptions. Deleting the app, leaving a household or deleting an app account does not cancel Apple renewal.

Use Restore Purchases on the app’s subscription screen with the Apple purchase account and the app account associated with the original transaction. Restoration verifies eligible original purchases; it does not start a new period, extend time, merge app accounts or move a bound period to another household. If Apple has confirmed payment but access has not updated, retry synchronization online or contact support rather than buying again.

Household sharing by subscription period

Each subscription period benefits one in-app household of 1–8 members, including the owner and purchaser. One person can be a household. This is in-app household sharing, not Apple Family Sharing, and does not require a shared Apple Account.

Each paid period remains with the household bound when the transaction takes effect. If the purchaser leaves or is removed, the original household keeps that period; the purchaser stops sharing its access and the new household does not inherit it. The next successful renewal binds a new period to the purchaser’s household then. An annual period cannot move to another household each month.

After an old subscription has fully ended, an Apple-verified new purchase may belong to the current app account and its household at purchase. This does not transfer old transactions, household periods or reward sources. Restoring an old transaction, renewing or upgrading cannot transfer an active subscription to another app account.

Characters, collections and refunds

When valid Premium access takes effect, eligible members receive four subscription base characters, their default portraits and their basic celebration poses. Each character’s three additional expressions are earned through personal chore mastery, not all granted at purchase. Each new stage of the seven achievement growth characters still requires its personal achievement and active Premium. Subscribing does not grant achievements or unlock every collectible. Free starter and hidden-achievement rewards remain free.

Normal cancellation, expiry or leaving a household does not remove legitimately earned personal collections. While a subscription base character remains legitimately owned, its additional expressions can still be earned through personal chore mastery after expiry. Premium theme access and permanent themes follow the next section. Account deletion removes personal collections.

The refund exception applies only to the four instant subscription characters, their four avatars each and four dependent celebration poses. After the server verifies a successful refund or revocation of the granting period, access is withdrawn only when the recipient has no other legitimate, non-refunded and non-revoked grant source. Another legitimate source that expired normally still preserves earned ownership. This also applies to recipients who later left, were removed or changed households.

The seven achievement growth characters and independent achievement rewards, permanent themes, free rewards, achievement progress and historical records are unaffected by that source-period refund exception. Pending or declined refunds do not withdraw access. A verified refund reversal restores the original source’s access and collections without extending the period or rebinding the household. Historical collections without trustworthy source evidence are not deleted by guesswork.

Monthly report themes and permanent ownership

All 6 themes are on equal terms: Coral Red, Morning Together, Sky Blue, Sunny Window, Chore Theater and Life in Pages. There are no free or premium theme tiers. Personal presentation also includes Minimal White, a local style outside the six-theme library.

While Premium is active, every theme is available, including new library additions. This is temporary access, not permanent ownership. When Premium ends, only themes you own permanently remain available; previously owned permanent themes are preserved.

No Premium is needed to choose themes to keep. Start with 1 choice. Your own records on 3 and 14 distinct dates each earn 1 more choice; the dates do not need to be consecutive. Initiating sharing for monthly reports from 1, 2 and 3 distinct report months each earns 1 more choice. Each milestone grants its choice once, and each choice lets you claim 1 unowned theme permanently. These are personal rewards, not shared household progress.

Tapping an external share entry counts, even if you cancel. Saving locally does not count. Actual publication or exposure is not verified. Each report month counts only once, even if you initiate sharing repeatedly.

Themes change your monthly report and its shared poster, not the entire app. Each member chooses independently. Membership does not consume your permanent theme choices, and theme choices do not change character unlock rules.

The initial choice is for new accounts. Existing accounts keep previously owned permanent themes and do not receive another initial choice. Previewing or swiping does not claim a theme; confirmation is required. Leaving a Premium household or losing the applicable membership source ends temporary theme access, but does not remove your permanently owned themes.

Share milestones use the report's own month, not the month you tap Share. Repeating a share or changing households does not count that report month again. Empty reports, future or invalid report months, and requests outside your active household do not qualify. Account deletion also deletes your personal theme collection.

Leaving, withdrawing consent and deleting an account

Signing out does not delete an account. Leaving or removal ends that household membership while preserving the account and legitimately earned personal collections. Permanent account deletion removes personal records and collections as described in the Privacy policy and preserves other members’ own history. Read the confirmation shown in the app before proceeding.

For an account with completed guardian confirmation, use Account & Security → Withdraw guardian consent and delete account to request withdrawal and deletion. Once withdrawal is recorded, ordinary cloud access stops. Incomplete deletion can be retried; a new confirmation does not cancel a pending withdrawal. Signing out, leaving and deleting an account do not replace Apple subscription management.

Continuity and resolving issues

Offline records remain on your device until synchronization succeeds. Check pending records before uninstalling. Maintenance, network issues or third-party services may temporarily affect availability, and system notification delivery is not guaranteed. Material service changes and discontinuation will be handled with applicable notice, data and paid-access obligations. These terms do not exclude statutory consumer rights.

Contact 18730938002@163.com about service issues. Unresolved disputes may be brought before a competent authority under applicable law.
